John J McInerney Jr., 68, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011. He was born on November 27, 1942 in Ashland, OH to the late John J. Sr. and Daisy A. McInerney. John was a member of First Christian Church and a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1960. After graduation he went to work as a typesetter at Ace Printing and then JKL Printing and has been recently employed at Buehler's in the produce department. John was a Scout Master for Troop #403 at First Christian Church for many years. He loved to golf when he was able, was a fan of the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes. John was a member of the Wadsworth Eagles, Moose, American Legion and VFW. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. McInerney is survived by his wife Linda with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 6, 2011; one son Doug (Holly) McInerney of Barberton, two daughters Dee McInerney of Senecaville, Oh and Lee (Tim) Flath of Wadsworth. His beloved grandchildren Sean, Ryan and Mollyrose McInerney, Mikaela and Brenna Flath and one sister Sharon K. Thoma.
The family will receive friends 3-7:30 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 PM with Rev. Martha Everhard officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
