George Harter Jr., 94, formerly of Wadsworth more recently of Dublin, OH died Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was born February 8, 1916 in Wadsworth to the late George A. Sr. and Millie Harter.
Mr. Harter was a WWII Army veteran and on October 23, 2010 made an Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma and seven brothers and sisters.
George is survived by his daughter Janice Snyder of Hilliard, OH, two granddaughters Gwendolyn (Kristian) Snyder of Rochester, NY, Meredyth (Glenn) Donaldson of Powell, OH, two great granddaughters Claire and Chloe Donaldson and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
