Theresa K. (French) Calaway, formerly of Wadsworth, passed away at Doylestown Health Care on Friday, May 7, 2010.
Born March 24, 1935 to Carl and Rosemarie French. Theresa was one of twelve siblings. She graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1954 and complete training for a cosmetology license. She started working in the O'Neil's salon in downtown Akron, following at Thelma's in Kenmore, and later opened Theresa's Beauty Shop in Wadsworth. She loved collecting antiques and gardening.
Preceded in death by husband Donald C. Calaway in June 2009, Theresa is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Chris and Becky of Green, Cliff and Laura of Wadsworth, Bruce and Silvia of Richmond, Texas, and Brian and Rachael of Wakeman, her grandchildren; Bethany (Anthony) Hahn, Adam, Cassidy, Jessica (Brad) Mizra, Ashley (Neal) Casper, Matthew Foreman, Alijah, Kaleb, Lucas, Hannah, Austin, and Brianne, great granddaughter Addyson Casper, sisters Corrine (Walter) Lloyd, Barbara (Clarence) Scofield, and Dorie Colclauser, sister-in-law Jean Hanlon, and lifetime friend Zanna Collins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 12 from 6-8 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Thursday, May 13 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. Rittman, OH. Please meet at the cemetery Welcome Center at 12:15 PM.
