David G. Depew, 76, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was born on March 22, 1935 in Cleveland, OH to the late Ivan and Ann Depew.
Mr. Depew was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Harvest Presbyterian Church in Medina and was retired from Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.
David loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies included camping, working on cars, car shows, NASCAR, building models, reading and crossword puzzles.
David is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Enting) with whom he would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on Monday June 13, 2011, Their children Don (Carole) Depew of Bedford, OH, Nancy (Brian) Herwerden of Wadsworth and Robert (Linda) Depew of Wadsworth and six grandchildren: Noah Depew, Kevin and Liann Herwerden, Matthew, Brandon and Eric Depew.
The family will receive friends 2-6 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday at Harvest Presbyterian Church, 1095 E. Reagan Parkway, Medina, OH 44256, with Dr. David Wallover officiating.
