Donald Alfred Douglas, 81, of Fairlawn, loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Don was born June 25, 1928 to the late Fred and Anna (nee Riley) Douglas.
He was a graduate of Radnor High School class of 1947, was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War, graduated from Bliss Business College and went on to be a self employed Accountant. He was a life member of The Eagles, Fairlawn FOP, Am Vets and VFW.
Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by his brother Dwight Douglas and granddaughter Monica Douglas. Douglas.
Don is survived by his wife Carol Douglas, son and daughter in law Kevin and Deborah Douglas of Marion, daughter and son in law Linda and David Foos of Marion, grandchildren Michelle Douglas and Dan Douglas, Erin Redd and Andrew (Wendi) Foos, four great grandchildren, his brother Dale Douglas of Marion, OH and many nieces and nephews, step daughter and son in law Tracy and Mark Beesley and their children Kate and Owen Beesley.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, September 22 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman, OH. Please meet at the Cemetery Information Center at 2:15 PM. Family and Friends are invited to a reception in Donald's honor immediately following the service at the Wadsworth Knights of Columbus Hall, 148 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH 44281.
