Cody R. Dunning, 18, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was born July 4, 1991 in Barberton, Ohio.
Cody was a gifted athlete. He touched many lives prior to his death and touched many others after his death by giving the gift of life.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Richard Dunning.
He was the beloved son of Daniel and Kellie (nee Nitz) of Wadsworth, and the loving big brother of Ashley Lynn Dunning. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Joan Dunning and maternal grandparents Lynn Burnley and Glendon (Valarie) Nitz. There are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also surviving.
The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where a funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday with Fr. Robert Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Charter One Bank to help assist with final expenses.
