Roberta A. Gunnels, 74, of Wadsworth died Saturday, June 26, 2010. She was born October 21, 1935 in Rittman to the late Lionel Sr. and Opal Bartram. Mrs. Gunnels was retired from the Wadsworth American Legion Post #170 where she continued to be a member after retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Blacksten, brother Lionel "Jack" Bartram Jr. and sister Peggy Bartram.
Roberta is survived by her children Linda Dowling, Tom Gunnels and Frank Gunnels all of Wadsworth, two grandchildren Thomas Gunnels and Juliet Smith and one sister Dorothy O'Higgins.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
