Vivian A. Hughes, 80, of Wadsworth, died Friday January 7, 2011. She was born on March 20, 1930 in Bedford, OH to the late Joseph B. and Bertha O'Higgins. She was a former employee of the Ohio Match Co., the Red Bird Grocery store and was retired from Buehler's Grocery Store. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Hughes, three brothers Don, Keith and Leo; four sisters Janice, Beatrice, Barbara and Lavonda.
Vivian is survived by her children Daniel (Candice) Hughes of Cuyahoga Falls, Donald (Sylvia) Hughes of Rittman and Deborah (Cecil) Crislip of Wadsworth. There are four grandchildren; Sandra (Bill) Sanders, Tracy Mast, Lori (Jeff) Roush and Kristina (fiance David) Hughes, nine great grandchildren and her sister Beverly (Frank) Killinger of Rittman.
The family will receive friends 1-4 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday with Rev. Raynard Martin officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
