Lucille Dawn Hughson, 86, of Wadsworth passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was born on November 21, 1924 in Bellevue, OH to the late William and Henrietta Middleswarth. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellevue, Oh and was currently a member at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Wadsworth. Mrs. Hughson was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars for over forty years, was active with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts with her children; was a PTA member and active member of churches in Buffalo, NY and Lily Dale, NY and was also a member of the Lily Dale Fire Department Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Troike and brothers Bill Middleswarth and Bernie Clark.
Lucille is survived by her husband James Edward Hughson to whom she was married to on December 30, 1943, her children James E. Hughson Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN; Gregory Lee (Kathleen) Hughson of Palataka, FL and Michele Lynn (Bud) Steward of Wadsworth. There are her grandchildren; Holly (Russ) Clawson, Jessica, (Paul) Wander, Scott Steward, Lisa (Dennis) Wiges, Wendy (Louis) Hughson and Gregory Hughson and 14 great grandchildren, her sister Barbara Jacobs and numerous nieces and nephews also surviving.
A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 145 College St. Wadsworth.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
