Miriam Leatherman, 94, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010. Born August 17, 1915 in Rushville, OH to the late John F. and Verla L. (Dilger) Graves.
Mrs. Leatherman was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church and the Aldersgate Sunday School Class. She delivered meals for Meals on Wheels until she was 85. Miriam enjoyed nothing more than loving and caring for her family, being a homemaker and active church member.
Preceded in death by her husband Ivan, son Randall Leatherman, sister Mildred Andrus, brother Earnest Graves, and granddaughter Molly Stephens. She is survived by her children; Roger (Jane) Leatherman of Wadsworth, Verla (Larry) Shoup of Northville, MI, and David Leatherman of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, daughter-in-law Karen Leatherman of Wadsworth, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and brothers; John (Betty) Graves of Akron, James Graves of North Ridgeville, and Wendell (Marjorie) Graves of Wadsworth.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Rev. Jerry Penrod officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
