Doris L. Roos, 84, of Wadsworth passed away Friday, May 14, 2010. Born January 11, 1926 in Wadsworth to the late Otto and Amanda (nee Carlson) Larson.
Mrs. Roos was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and sang in their choir. She also sang with the Wadsworth Community Choir and was a member of the Sharon Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing both for herself and others.
Preceded in death by her husband Gordon and daughter Barbara Simmons.
She is survived by children; Cathy Shaffia Laue and Eric Laue (Cheryl) Paul Roos (Carol), Laurel Roos Herbeck (Michael), grandchildren; Megan Simmons, Charlie Simmons, Anne Laue Minden, Arielle Laue-Minden, Randy Laue, Mitch Laue, Ashley Roos Opperman (Matthew), Kendra Roos Smith (David), Emily Herbeck Harker (Brandon), Naomi Herbeck, June Herbeck, and great grandchildren; Zachary and Ella Jean Opperman.
Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 PM Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6462 Ridge Rd. Sharon Center, OH 44274 with Rev. Christopher Bartholomew officiating.
