Phyllis Anne Scott, 86, died January 18, 2012. She was born February 20, 1925, to Mabelle and Charles Scott in Wadsworth, OH. Her infant sister, Norma Jeanne, and her sister Annette preceded her in death. Many cousins remain. Phyllis was graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1942 and from Kent State University in 1967. She was employed by the Ohio Match Company and later taught fifth and fourth grade in the Chippewa Local Schools.
Phyllis appreciated life and all the friends, relatives, kids, critters, and acquaintances that she knew. She believed in a force for good, from which one can draw strength.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, January 23, at 1:30PM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
