Neal Snowden, 75, formerly of Rutland, OH more recently of Orrville, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009. Born October 21, 1934 in Rutland, OH to the late George E. and Edith I. Snowden.
Mr. Snowden was a veteran of the United States Navy, and retired from PPG Industries and The City of Wadsworth. He was an avid Cavs fan, a Browns fan, and enjoyed hunting and playing his handheld poker game.
He was preceded in death by his brother Sylvan.
Neal is survived by his wife Rebecca, his children; Don (Rae) Waugh of Orrville, Frank (Michelle) Waugh of Wadsworth, Christi (John) Sickles of Rittman, Tonya (Kalman) Denning of Orrville, and Michael Snowden of the home. There are 11 grandchildren, his siblings; Naomi (Cecil) Hersman, Curly and Ruth Snowden, Lou Scott, Georgie and Ron Allen, all of Wadsworth, and Scott Snowden of Billings, Montana.
The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.
