Lloyd V. Sommers of Sharon Twp., passed away peacefully Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Mr. Sommers recently celebrated his 93rd birthday with his family. Born in Wayne County Ohio and moving to Sharon Twp., in 1941. He was retired from B & L Motor Freight having logged over one million safe miles.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Helen (nee Guldeman), parents John and Mary (nee Studer) Sommers and one sister Juanita Rainer.
He is survived by his children; Patsy (Robert) Wolf, Shirley (Clarence) Evans, Claude (Sharon) Sommers, Betty (Ernest) Rogge, his siblings Mervin Sommers, Ethel (Ron) Duecker, Edna Ashburn along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
