Dorothy H. Walton, 82, of Wadsworth passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She was born June 7, 1927 in Amesville, OH to the late James and Lorene Mesecher.
Mrs. Walton was a member of First Christian Church, she was the former Gift Coordinator at Dutch Pantry and The Loft, and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and walking.
She was preceded in death by her husband William on December 8, 1997, brothers Bob and Galen Mesecher, and sister Edith Walton.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and David Hutchison of Rittman, and son Bill Walton of Wadsworth. There are 6 grandchildren; Roberta, Jon, Tom, Jason, Michelle, and Lisa, 11 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer St. Wadsworth with Rev. James L. Singleton officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services from 11:00-1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
